The Lutino Quaker parrot also known as the Yellow Quaker parrot is a sex-linked mutation of the Quaker parrot in which the entire body color is yellow instead of white. The Lutino Quaker is regarded as a “specially designed ” parrot because its coloration is different from the normal Green Quaker.

Lutino gene mutations affect grey pigments, resulting in Lutino Quakers lacking blue, grey, and green colors. Rather, they have an entirely yellow color, which is generally a bright, vibrant yellow.

Origin and history
Quaker parakeets reside in South America, especially in Paraguay, Bolivia, Argentina, and Brazil. There is a high prevalence of these species in open savannas, scrub forests, and palm groves where there is little rainfall. Also, they can be found in city parks, on farms, and in yards throughout South America.
